Happy Tuesday Darlings!
It's been a whirlwind weekend here at the Gray House. It's that time of year when you open your mailbox to find all of the wonderful teenagers and preschoolers graduation invitations. We are fortunate to have friends with children graduating from preschool, high school and college. And for our own family we are blessed that this week is my GrandGirlie Lucy's Play and graduation from first grade.
Coming up in a few weeks our sweet friend Lauren will be graduating from high school. Lauren is a very talented soccer player not to mention a very smart young lady. This fall she will be heading off to Dartmouth for her college experience. We are so proud of her.
I wanted to do something fun for Lauren's graduation card. This is a card I made using Stampin Up! products. I tried very hard to keep the layers to a minimum to make the project a very clean style. The tassle is made with the silk grograin ribbon. The trick with the grograin ribbon to make the fringe is to tie a knot first then cut off the side binders and pull the strings. This was way to fun and I am sure many of you have done this project in the past.
Card stock: Midnight Muse and Whisper White
Ink: Night of Navy
Stamps & Accessories: Well Scripted, 1/4" white silk grograin ribbon and silver brads
