Yes it is crazy that Alabama has a snow day or two a year. Even more crazy we close roads, kids get a get out of jail free card and people go nuts over bread, milk and toliet paper. All over a 1/2" of ice and snow. But in our defense, we don't have snow plows or de-ice trucks to throw stuff on our roads. So we have fun at making fun ourselves. Just as the rest of the country. Here is my sweet Maddison. She does NOT like the snow!
Now what do you think I do on my snow day? Well I like making cards! Turn the soul music loud and rock out some spring looking or dreaming of spring in my case kind of a card.
I love this stamp set because I feel like Stampin Up! must have heard about my blog and felt they must use Hello Darling! What a sweet compliment. (wink).
I thought I would share how I design a card. I start with choosing a stamp set. Then it goes to paper and pencil. I draw out the idea and how I think it will work. Then I use the great tool of Color Coach to help me with choosing color card stock and inks.
My final result. I wanted to show you how I copied the outside to the inside as well. This makes the card feel heavy and nice!
Thank you for stopping by today. Remember I love hearing from you! You can follow me on the RSS feed, leave a comment with either Facebook or Discus.
